Accounting

Understand where money comes from, where it goes, and how your business is performing.

What you get

  • Chart of accounts organizes transactions into accounts such as cash, sales, expenses, assets and liabilities.
  • Journals record accounting entries; the ledger shows activity by account. Posting rules define how supported business transactions are recorded.
  • Expense records capture operating costs. A trial balance helps you review account balances before preparing reports.
  • Profit and loss (P&L) shows income and expenses; the balance sheet shows assets, liabilities and equity; cash flow shows cash movements.
  • Bank reconciliation helps compare your records with bank activity. Fixed assets tracks longer-lived business assets.

Example in practice

A café records ingredient purchases and utility expenses, reviews sales and costs in its P&L, then reconciles the bank account to identify entries that need attention.

Invoicing & AR

Issue bills, track amounts customers owe, and connect invoice payments with your operations.

What you get

  • Customer invoices record charges. Proformas provide a preliminary invoice before the final bill.
  • Credit notes reduce or correct an invoice; customer credits track amounts available for future use; AR refunds handle refunds associated with receivables. AR means accounts receivable: money customers owe you.
  • Invoice templates let you prepare the customer-facing invoice format. Customers or staff can use an invoice number to pay at the kiosk.
  • Booking-system integrations and webhooks support exchanging invoice-related information with a connected booking system. Webhooks notify another system when supported events occur.

Example in practice

A resort booking system creates an invoice in POSIBLI and keeps the invoice reference. At checkout, staff finds the bill using its invoice number and takes payment. The integration can pass supported updates back to the booking system.

Advanced Reports

Look beyond sales totals to understand profitability, stock value and inventory differences.

What you get

  • Profitability reports and Executive Summary help you review business performance and the figures that need attention.
  • Inventory Valuation shows the value of stock; Inventory History shows recorded stock movements.
  • Reconciliation & Consumption Analysis compares stock records and consumption to help investigate differences.
  • BOM Cost & Margin reviews the cost and margin of items made from a bill of materials (BOM), the list of ingredients or components needed to make an item.
  • Inventory Loss & Variance highlights stock losses and differences for further investigation.

Example in practice

A print shop reviews paper movements, printing consumption and counted stock. It uses reconciliation and loss reports to investigate an unexplained shortage, then reviews margins to see how material costs affect profitability.

Forecasting & Planning

Use demand patterns to prepare stock decisions before you run short or hold too much.

What you get

  • Demand forecasts estimate future demand from available business data.
  • Seasonality helps you account for recurring changes in demand.
  • Reorder recommendations suggest replenishment needs; transfer recommendations help plan stock movement between locations. These recommendations support a decision rather than guaranteeing future demand.

Example in practice

A school-supply store reviews seasonal demand ahead of the school opening. It uses reorder recommendations to plan purchases and transfer recommendations to decide which branch needs more notebooks.
